Our Mission
iFOB strengthens communities by improving health outcomes, relationships, and cultural understanding within settings caring for or serving pregnant women, minority families, students, and the workforce.
Diane Banigo is an illustrious doctorate prepared Nurse Midwife and owner of iFOB from St. Paul, Minnesota. iFOB designs healthy societies where we ALL can thrive EQUITABLY.
As a Clinician, she enjoys getting to know families on a personal level and help them actively engage in their care. Diane passionately supports people from all walks of life but feels that it is critical to give and be a voice for the voiceless. However, as a Social Architect and Consultant, she listens to the needs of her client and facilitates the formation of sustainable change.
Being the Director & Project Manager of D.I.V.A. Moms, a culturally reflective and responsive prenatal and postnatal community-based program; she speaks out for communities with the worst birth-related disparities by advocating for culturally safe, harm-free, and culturally reflective care. She also helps care systems discover how to incorporate culturally sensitive values into their foundation.
Today, it gives her great joy as a Consultant to be able to work with clients ready to design diverse and inclusive communities through architectural change.
